My Poems: “Insanity”

February 3rd, 2013 4 Comments

This is another poem from a darker time in my life.  I have to admit that a number of my works are on the more shadowy side.  I’ll let you get what you like from this.  Let me know what it means to you and what you think I meant when I wrote.  I am always curious to see through the eyes of the those that observe art from the other side.

Falling Deeper

No Escape

Haunting Faces

Clawing Hands

Insanity Grips

You Did This

You Turned Me

Took My Life

Left Me Here

Took My Sanity

Made Me Angry

You Think Me Gone

Think You Have Won

You Will Feel Pain

As I Feel Pain

I Will Find You

Drag You With Me

Make You Realize Why

I Shall Drive You Insane

As You Have Driven Me

Oh Love, Heart Of Mine

About the author

I’m a Goth/Hippie who loves to try new things and dabbles in anything and everything that I find enjoyment in. That can include but is not limited to, cooking, art, digital design, jewellery making, photography, gardening, nature, animals and whatever else strikes my fancy. I’m an optimistic (occasionally) perfectionist (constantly), who can be very sarcastic (incessantly), but all in good humour. :)

Sounds like we share in common the trait that being hurt makes us angry! You may have a warrior’s heart.

Yes, yes we do. The same can be said of me when those I care about get hurt as well. You can’t mess with me or the people I love and expect not to hear about.

Oh man, I’m not sure what it could be. I have to imagine it’s an ex that really killed your heart.
Awesome poem

You are very close on that count. 😉 But haven’t quite hit the mark. Thanks for the compliment. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
