Recipe: Side Dish – Vidalia Onion Au Gratin Soup

March 6th, 2014 No Comments

Vidalia Onion Au Gratin Soup (1)This recipe is another family recipe, complements of my cousin.  She is an awesome cook, better than me!  It’s based off the onion soup that you can get at Zehnder’s in Frankenmuth, Michigan (USA).  This soup is to die for!  You think french onion soup is good??  Well, I hate to tell you but you haven’t had onion soup ’till you try this.  Not only that but it’s cheap and easy to make.

If you are ever in Michigan, I highly recommend going to Frakenmuth (as well as Mackinac Island & Holland).  It has always been one of my favorite place to visit, especially during the Snow Festival.
