Daily Dabbles: Chin Up
Admittedly, this is a hard one for me to follow. I like to think of myself as a very creative person. I love art, music, crafts, cooking, but I am also more than a little bit of a perfectionist. This tends to cause problems. One main stumbling block for me is that if it doesn’t come out the way I see it in my head, the first time, I get frustrated.
I’m sure a number of people have a similar issue. It’s hard to take something you create and actually say you like it. The reason may be that you always feel the project is never done, or you are afraid no one will like it.
Whatever your reason is, it is important to remember to not let it stop you. You can’t please everyone, and nothing can be perfect. Don’t be afraid to do and create. Just because you are not happy with something doesn’t mean someone else won’t find it awesome.
About the author Chyina
I’m a Goth/Hippie who loves to try new things and dabbles in anything and everything that I find enjoyment in. That can include but is not limited to, cooking, art, digital design, jewellery making, photography, gardening, nature, animals and whatever else strikes my fancy. I’m an optimistic (occasionally) perfectionist (constantly), who can be very sarcastic (incessantly), but all in good humour. :)
