In a lot of ways this one goes without saying, but unfortunately very few of us can actually do this. Truth is, I’ve gotten to the point where I would rather die happy than live miserably. Coming with that is also the idea that I’d rather be hopeless and happy than living in a mansion and miserable. I mention those two phrases because they go hand in hand, at least in the world we live in today. After what little I’ve seen and been through, life has taken on a different light for me. What’s funny is that it didn’t take much for me to get to this point. Yet others go through so much more, and worse, than what I have and still remain where they are. My best advice, don’t get trapped to begin with.
If you are looking to make a buck, well there is a buck to be made anywhere. This in turn means that what you love to do can make you money. No it may not be easy, or fast, or a lot, but at least you can enjoy yourself while doing it. But if you can’t give up that spiffy, yet hated, job of yours, then find time to take this picture to heart. Even if you aren’t looking for a boost in the Monopoly money being used today find a couple of hours a week at least to do what you love. It can be so rewarding and therapeutic, that the rest of life can more easily handled.
