Daily Dabbles: Chin Up
It may be an old saying but it’s still a good one; “Laughter is the best medicine.” Science even backs it up. So why not laugh, and laugh a lot. The effects are potent, immediate, and contagious. I love being around people that laugh, even if I don’t feel that they have a reason to laugh. My cousin for instance, she is one of those people that laughs a lot. She is also one of those people that when you hear her laugh you can not help but laugh yourself. I’ve often tried not to laugh in fact when she laughed. I usually only made it a few seconds before breaking into giggles myself. Perhaps that’s why humour is such a powerful thing in relationships. How many times have you heard someone say that one of the reasons they love someone is because they make them laugh? Almost every relationship I know that is one of the first things listed.
Life is short, laugh it up before you no longer can. You’ll be happier, healthier, and invite the warmth and love of others.
About the author Chyina
I’m a Goth/Hippie who loves to try new things and dabbles in anything and everything that I find enjoyment in. That can include but is not limited to, cooking, art, digital design, jewellery making, photography, gardening, nature, animals and whatever else strikes my fancy. I’m an optimistic (occasionally) perfectionist (constantly), who can be very sarcastic (incessantly), but all in good humour. :)

The hard part is getting them to laugh with you rather than at you…
