Daily Dabbles: Laugh It Up
Hehe, I just love this picture. It’s kind of a tradition in my family that if you get a present with a bow on it, you are to promptly stick that bow on your head when you open your present. In the past, I have put it on my pets’ heads. Who hasn’t? Be honest. 😉 Although my pets didn’t react quite like this. They were equally funny about it, at least I think so. They had the effect of backing up, as if the action was going to somehow dislodge the bow. Or they would paw at it, which worked well for them, but usually cut short my fun. 😛 Still, I think if my pets had looked like this, I would of had a stash of bows hidden year ’round for inciting this reaction at random points in time. 😀

My dog, Samantha, was pretty stoic about the little Witch’s hat I bought for her to wear at Halloween and the antlers I bought for Christmas. She’d usually be giving me the long-suffering eye, though.

I remember one of my cats got put into a sweater one year. He turned to stone, no kidding. Just went stiff to the point that you could simply tap him and he’d fall over. Maybe he thought if he held still long enough it would just fall off. O_o

Yeah, my kitty flicks and rolls and does these little roll/hop dances whenever I stick a bow on him. He’s very comical to say the least, at least to his human family.

They are rather funny to us. Little do we know they are probably plotting their revenge with every twitch of the tail, lol. It’s best to keep an eye on your furniture for a few days afterwards.
